: This is a view of Barcombe Road in the 1940′s when Lewes Road was still a single carriage way.

This view of Barcombe Road shows a much slower pace of life when children could play in the streets without any fear of the traffic. Not like it is now of course!

Kids have lots of fun at the Moulsecoomb Family Fun Day this year. Cllr Anne Meadows one of the organisers said ‘it is a resident run and led family day out.’

This is a new experience for me but I suppose I should get used to it sometime. Perhaps there are other technophobic councillors like me who find it difficult to express themselves in this medium. I still prefer actual contact with real people at local meetings or community events but I am moving in a new digital age now. Wow!

I have two teenagers who blog all the time but I won’t let them teach me so now I am having professional help. What a great start to the summer holidays! Now I will have to share a computer (not the council one) with my two boys so we can all fight to see who can use the computer to blog first. Great fun!
